HeadRoom Supreme
The Supreme gets you 90% of the sound quality of our top of the line Cosmic and is more detailed and accurate than our Total Airhead. A very good value, the Supreme works well both on the road with portables and at home in the big rig.
The New Supreme has many of the new features of our top models. Across the front panel are - from left to right - a LED and the power switch. Light on, power on! Next to that is the 1/4" headphone jack, an upgrade from the previous model. It is a high friction jack that insures a good connection with your headphone. Next is a three position filter switch. Depending on the recording and personal tastes, with the Processor on, you can compensate for any high frequency roll off. Next in line is the Processor on/off switch. Our Processor helps fix the imaging problem inherent with headphone listening giving the listener better soundstaging and imaging as well as relief from listening fatigue. Another new item is the three position Gain switch. This allows you to maximize the use of the volume control pot with any headphone. For example you would use High Gain with the Sennheiser HD600 or the Low Gain with any of the Grado line. The volume control finishes off the front panel. The rear panel consists of a left and right RCA input jack. To the right of the inputs is the Audio select switch. Direct input into the Supreme - local - and input into the Base Station One - remote. Next is the input for the Base Station One power supply. A switch routes your pwer - local for the battery pack and ac adapter and remote for the BS1. The Battery pack and AC adapter plugs into the 5V receptacle on the far right. Adding A Base Station One will even better the Supreme in your Home rig!<P>
