If you want comfort, the RudiStor Chroma MD1 ($1000) is hard to beat. It's an extremely cushy open-air headphone -- it feels like a pair of pillows on your ears. Its 53mm neodymium/mylar drivers produced a big, velvety sound that was especially potent with vocal tracks. This, along with the 'phones' feel, makes for long, long listening sessions. The MG1's impedance is 60 ohms and its sensitivity is 103dB.
