请看DAC1主设计师的这一段话,是说前面板调节(VARIABLE)与后面板调节(CALIBRATED)的电路(!)和效果是一模一样的:
"The DAC1 front panel pot and the rear panel trim pots use identical but fully independent signal paths. These two signal paths are selected with the DPDT switch located on the rear panel.
In either mode of operation, there are exactly the same number of components in the signal path, and the component values are identical (with one small exception). The only difference is that the front panel pot can be set full off, while the range of the rear panel pots are limited to a 20 dB control range.
The output buffers follow the DPDT switch, and are not altered by the position of the switch.
Also, we have never been able to measure any differences between the two modes of operation. I can assure you that we can measure some signal degredation through even the best external preamps. An external preamp adds many devices to the signal path, the variable mode on the DAC1 does not. I am inclined to favor the simpler path."
当前面板音量调节器调到最大的时候(我的理解就是阻抗最小,对吗?),输出电平比后面板的跳线默认状态下的电平要大,造成了主观心理上听感的提升。
当然,也可以通过控制后面板的开关,把输出调为最大,这时候应该就和前面板输出的效果一样了(我不记得说明书了,好像后面板可以调节的最大输出比前面板更大)。
