Are you trying to lay down professional sounding audio tracks on your computer, but get more hiss than music? Get that game card out of your computer, and consider Echo's latest professional audio card, Mia.
The first thing to point out is the price. $179 here at KraftMusic.com, so it's hardly considered to be a "professional" price. Do you get what you pay for? In this case, you get much more. Two balanced 1/4" inputs, two balanced 1/4" outputs, and coaxial SP/DIF digital in and out. That's not a big deal, but the specs are...the analog ins and outs are capable of 106 dB of dynamic range, and the 24-bit/96kHz converters insure a crystal clear recording. For greater recording flexibility the analog I/O can be software-switchable between +4dBu and -10dBv.
Echo includes some software for PC/MAC users (Steinberg Cubasis VST). The bottom line is that you'll be hard pressed to find these kind of features and this level of performance in another card near its price range. Upgrade your sound today! |
