hooked Muvo2 4GB to a amplifier (NAD 314) then to pair of speakers (B&W 602S3)

and headphone ($150 sennheiser hd580).

can&#39t find any problem with sound. Clear and covers almost full frequency
ranges.

then, AB compared it to Marantz cd17 mkii CD player (about $1200 new).  Muvo2
uses WAV files extracted from CD.
Amazingly, they are very close!  Muvo&#39s high is more clear transparent than
cd17, but some times a little harsh.  mids is good, i can&#39t tell much
difference. bass is strong, heavy enough. but maybe lacks extension (say,
below 40hz).
Overall, I haven&#39t listened to any music player (cd, dvd ...) so close to
marantz cd17.  I have to stay in a very quiet room, and repeat a song many
times to notice any difference.

muvo2 gives more clear and transparent sound, 1% more.  cd17 is more refined
and musical, 0.1% more.

虽然我听过高档的MP3机的音质相当好，但我只敢说，它与CD随声听的声音相当，由于电压相当低，很怀疑它的推力。至于在电脑上，听起来和APE的音质差不多。
MP3为320K或192K_VBR格式的。
