There is only very few VDH product and most of it is early production with the printing “PVC FREE” had been stopped since many, many years ago.



Please note that our comment only refer to the cable sample you sent, it DO NOT extend or prove to any other cable that printed “PVC FREE” or “Van Den Hul PVC FREE” on its jacket that is a genuine VDH cable.  



However the sample piece you forwarded to me, I got a confirmation letter from VDH that conform this cable sample was genuinely made by VDH for its South African customer just for one production run and then finished, so the sample and the remain of this “PVC FREE” printed VDH Patch Bay 5 cable is certainly a left over of that production and it is made a long time ago, I have no idea how the condition of the cable is now after such a long storage period, but I guess it is sell for a very cheap clearence price and since we do not import this cable therefore we at Excel as the distributor of Van Den Hul will not provide any guarantee of its quality nor we accept any further claims or responsibilities for this cable, please take all pre-caution to protect your consumer rights before you pay for it.
